PROCEDURE
The surgeon tightens the underlying muscle and membrane, pulls the skin back, and removes the excess. Stitches secure the layers of tissue and close the incisions.
The head may also be warped loosely in bandages to minimize bruising and swelling.

TARGET AREAS
The key facial structures elevated during a mini-facelift surgery are jaw lines; marionette lines (deep parenthesis around the mouth), and excess skin that hangs from the neck, referred as “turkey neck”. Forehead and eyes are not affected.

ANESTHESIA
Local anesthesia, combined with intravenous sedation if necessary.
