ROYAL JELLY
The royal treasure
Royal Jelly is not a product collected by the honey bees from flowers.
It is specially created by worker bees (also referred to as nurses), which mix honey and bee pollen with enzymes in the glands of their throats to produce the extraordinary food.
This jelly substance is a water-based product that helps in the growth and development of the queen bee.
IDENTIFICATION
Royal Jelly is a creamy white or pale yellowish gelatinous substance.

TYPES OF ROYAL JELLY
It can be produced and packed in a liquid state or as a tablet in powder form which can be preserved for longer time.
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) form of royal jelly preserves all the natural active ingredients.
The freeze-dried form of the royal jelly will be usually made into powder and are packed as capsules. These jelly powders will be added with the shelf life in order to protect them from either losing their nature or from the harmful microbes that can easily attack and corrode the nature of these powders.
HEALING PROPERTIES
• Balances Cholesterol Levels
Consistently adding royal jelly to one’s diet can cause a notable drop in “bad” cholesterol levels, thus helping prevent atherosclerosis and cardiovascular issues like heart attacks and strokes.
• Treats Infertility Issues
Researches have shown that royal jelly increases the fertility in men and increase sperm motility, thereby increasing their partner’s chances of becoming pregnant.
• Prevents Cancer
The antioxidants found in royal jelly show an ability to reduce bisphenol A, also known as BPA. This is an environmental estrogen, which has been linked to increased levels of breast cancer. Therefore, by adding enough royal jelly to your diet, you can prevent this type of cancer.
• Reduces Inflammation
Royal jelly can be applied locally on affected areas of the body in order to relieve the pain of inflammation.
This healing property is due to the impressive vitamins and active enzymes that make out of royal jelly a potential anti-inflammatory agent.
• Prevents Premature Aging
The antioxidants found in royal jelly can also work to eliminate the free radicals that normally cause premature aging. Antioxidants can eliminate wrinkles, maintain a healthy shine to the skin, prevent hair loss, and avoid macular degeneration.
Royal jelly also enhances the production of collagen, which is the substance that is responsible for keeping the skin elastic and wrinkle free.
• Weight Loss
Lecithin is one of the components in royal jelly, that can effectively lower cholesterol, improve liver function, and promote healthy digestion. All of these things can help with weight loss efforts. When combined with the improved metabolism caused by royal jelly and the protein content of this nutrient supplement, it can work as a definite weight loss booster!
• Sore Throats and Immunity
Royal jelly contains all 8 of the necessary amino acids that humans cannot produce, These amino acids are necessary for building new proteins in the body and keeping the metabolism running properly. Royal jelly can, therefore, increase cellular regeneration, boost muscle development and growth, increase bone strength, and optimize the hormonal/enzymatic processes in the body.
SIDE EFFECTS
People who are allergic to honey, bee pollen, and royal jelly can have a severe allergic reaction causing rapid anaphylaxis.
