This brilliant Lebanese pianist has made a name for himself as one of the greatest musician. A smile on his face, an Angel in his heart, Michel’s eyes dance on the rhythm of his magical fingers.
A dreamer by nature, a perseverant by personality, Michel takes the music to another level carrying his Lebanese flag on the highest edges of fame.
MICHEL FADEL
Born into a family of artists, his mother was a choral soloist and his father a piano player who wanted his son to follow his steps. As a kid, he used to play the piano when his friends were turning to sports.
Michel got initiated to piano at the age of four followed up on daily bases by his father and weekly by his piano teacher, which earned him at the age of 8 the first prize in the youth Competition at the University of St. Esprit at Kaslik. He then obtained his masters degree with excellence, in classical piano at the Higher National Conservatory of Beirut and he studied composition and orchestration at the Bologna Conservatory in France.
Michel has gone on to carve a career for himself becoming the main pianist for Fayruz, Magida El Roumi and Julia Boutros. In addition to working with many renowned artists such as Assala, Wael Kfoury, Carole samaha, Nabil Choueil, Elissa, Saber El Rebaii, Hussein El Jasmi and many other prestigious stars.
In 2000, Michel won the first Prize under his category: Grand Champion Instrumentalist of the Year in the World Championship of Performing Arts as an Instrumental composer in Hollywood.
Year after year, Michel conquered his country and the whole region with his phenomenal talent. In 2011, he composed and arranged the Official Anthem for the Arab Olympic Games in Qatar performed by Assala.
In 2012, Michel released his long awaited new album, in a unique successful concert entitled "AalLebnene". 20 new tracks composed and arranged in a fusion of oriental and occidental themes climbing the steps of fame, Michel’s diversified ambitions have no limits.
Soon he will be opening a kids’ musical restaurant “Diez by Michel Fadel” in collaboration with his wife and Magida El Roumi, followed next year by a pub. This Christmas, the Lebanese presidential palace, “People’s house” will be vibrating with Michel’s melodies.
