General Manager of Al-Mawarid, a family owned medium sized commercial banking institution that has developed several businesses and is considered to be a leader in retail banking. In addition to the above, Al-Mawarid is envolved in third party processing of card portfolios for other banks; and most notably in retail representing Virgin in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Marwan is responsible for the day to day operations, spending a large percentage of his working days in the risk management of assets. His responsibilities include the general overview of the business, the co-ordination between the different companies in the group, and business development. He also sits on the board of most companies within these Group.
