Alissar Caracalla is an independent Choreographer and founder of the dance school "Studio Alissar Caracalla"which has become the home of over 1500 students of all ages and talents.
After receiving her Masters in Los Angeles California she became the apprentice of her father and is now the choreographer of the Caracalla Dance theater adding to her experience different ballet titles from "Elissa queen of Cartage", "Andalusia", "1001 nights", "Knights of the moon", "Zayed and the dream" and the "Villagers Opera".
Her expansive talent has also allowed her to be the choreographer and judge on the highly publicized reality TV show Star Academy season 1 all the way to season 8.
Her style has added an innovative spirit to the language of dance in the Middle East, and she is known to be the link between the past and the present with the Caracalla Dance Theater.

When did all the dancing start?
I was born into a family of dance, theater, music and poetry, so dancing has always been part of my vocabulary and form of expression.
Upon what do you base your inspiration?
My inspiration is part of me, I base it on my life, experiences, feelings, nature, people, it’s everything I see and feel.
You are the living translation of your father Abdel Halim Caracalla and your brother Ivan’s creations, besides the family bond what is the secret of your mutual cooperation?
We are a very close family, however at work we are three artists that work hand in hand together, we are true to our art form and we strive for the best.
How much do they influence you?
My Dad is my biggest influence and role model, and Ivan my brother and I are an inseparable duo as we both have the same mission.
If you were not a Caracalla what would you have done or chosen to be your carrier?
Nothing else could possibly fulfill me; I am in love with what I do. I live my work.
What did experience teach you?
Experience taught me how much more I have to learn, how necessary it is to observe, read, listen, learn, how each moment is a learning experience, and how there is no limit to creativity.
